Meet The Team

Brian is a Senior Research Analyst with Mangum Economics who specializes in the analysis of the economic impacts of the healthcare industry and the nuclear industry. Prior to joining Mangum Economics, Brian analyzed the economic impact of tourism at the state, local and regional levels for Tourism Economics. Brian also spent over two over two decades at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) estimating the economic impact of industries and projects, producing labor market data, analyzing incentives, and tracking economic trends. Brian’s industry research at VEDP included offshore wind, data centers, aerospace, automotive, food processing, and wood products. Brian also performed research and data analysis for AMT – The Association for Manufacturing Technology and Footwear Industries of America. Brian earned an M.A in Political Science from the University of Richmond and a B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary.
