Meet The Team

Martina is our Director for Economic Development & Energy Research. She is an economic development professional well-versed in research and analytical tools. With experience in both regional and state-level economic development organizations, as well as private sector companies, Martina brings significant knowledge to data gathering, evaluation of community assets and incentive programs, return-on-investment analyses, and comparative analysis. At Mangum Economics, Martina leads a team of analysts working on projects in the economic development and energy sectors. Martina specializes in the analysis of the impacts of energy projects on local communities and has worked on projects in more than 30 states. In her role, she also oversees work on and prepares economic and fiscal impact statements for private and public sector clients for industrial, commercial, and mixed-use projects, and prepares industry analyses. Prior to her consulting work, Martina was a Research Manager with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. Martina earned her M.B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
